Ferris Wheels are a pretty popular subject for photographers. After all, they are a very recognizable feature of any carnival or theme park. I wanted to see how far I could take this image away from how it looked on that bright and sunny day.
This is the Wonder Wheel, located in Coney Island, Brooklyn, NYC. According to Wikipedia, it was built in the 1920’s. If you go to NYC, Coney Island is a fun place to see and the view from the top of the Wonder Wheel is awesome!

I’ve been reading about #OccupyWallStreet and I really wish I could go there and take photos. I imagine that there are some really interesting things going on, and interesting people wearing interesting costumes and talking about interesting topics. It reminds me of a more good-natured rally (to restore sanity and fear) that I attended last year, which was an amazing and fun experience. Autumn is a good time for rallying!
